iPhone + Windows??

Apples has been featuring new and new gadgets for all its fans out there in the globe and has taken over all there hearts with quality products and customer satisfaction. Over the years they has been the ruling the gadget world with their iPhones and iPods, and most recent one that has been added to this category being the Apple iPad. All these having the OS that has been developed to maximize the utility of the hardware and to provide maximum user experience. There are rare cases of crashes for the gadget because of this reason.
Recently Android , the mobile OS from Google has been installed to an iPhone 2G that ran with an ease on the device. This simply indicates that it can also run OSs that are capable of interacting its hardware. Yes,its true that Android is open source and and developers all round world can have access to even the smallest bit of it and can interact each other for knowledge transactions. Same is the case of the Windows, though its not like linux ; if they can develop/ modify their current Os on mobiles/PC it can also be used to run an iPhone/iPod. Microsoft’s operating systems are used worldwide and if they can introduce their Os in the gadget world they can dominate over the gadgets as well.
Consider it this way iPhone/iPad/iPod is just like PC its has got a processor , RAM , storage media , I/O devices etc. Practically saying it can run any OS that can utilize the hardware resources and thats what any OS does. PCs are like universal gadgets that can be completely controlled by the user which depends on his/her expertise. He can remove an OS install another; remove a hardware/software etc. So has iPhone / iPad has became or is gonna become. The manufacturer, i think, should make available individual hardware that can be easliy set in place rather than launching new and new generations of gadgets as a single lump which cannot be even opened by the buyers. The idea can bring up much profit for the manufacturer and buyer who can customize the hardware/ software of the device according to his/her needs. This also does not requires frequent design changes.
